Mogadishu Mayor (by way of Minneapolis) Jacob Frey is concerned that someone could get killed if ICE insists on enforcing immigration law in his city, and it might even be an ICE agent. Of course, people could not interfere with ICE enforcing immigration laws. Frey, as the MAYOR, could have been enforcing laws to begin with. But that's not the world we live in.

Instead, we live in a world where a Democrat Mayor, since illegals are a crucial voting bloc, can issue veiled threats against law enforcement officers. Some threats aren't even that veiled.

I am increasingly concerned because of the chaos that is being caused by these ICE agents that somebody is going to get seriously injured or killed. Somebody is going to get seriously injured or killed. And whether that is an ICE agent or a community member, we all know the tinder box that could explode because of it.

Trump's ICE has been ramping up operations after Somali "citizens" were tied to one billion dollars worth fraud in the state, with one billion in TAXPAYER dollars meant to help feed kids during the pandemic.

• 86 people charged in widespread Minnesota fraud schemes, 78 are Somali immigrants.
• A nonprofit claims to have fed “tens of thousands” of children during the pandemic, but federal prosecutors say nearly all meals were never delivered.
• A second fraud scheme involved hundreds of organizations billing Minnesota for services meant to help people at risk of homelessness—services prosecutors say were never performed.
• Leaders of the nonprofit allegedly spent taxpayer money on luxury homes, cars, and real estate in Turkey and Kenya.

That's at least one side of the political argument. The other side - the "left-coded" side, if you will - claims without evidence that Somali migrants are a vital part of the fabric of Minneapolis, who pay their taxes.

Somali illegals are the fresh new faces for leftists to signal their virtue over. While trans still ranks #1 on the left's pound-for-pound most marginalized rankings, the Somalis have been rocketing up the chart. Just take a look at New York City, or in Boston, where the mayor there claimed with a straight face that, quote, “you cannot talk about any achievement the City of Boston has had” without mentioning Somalians.

Virtue signalling over criminals, illegals, and others who are leeching off of taxpayers is par for the course with Democrats. It would be more shocking if a Democrat didn't. That Democrat would also risk being primaried out of office. Just ask John Fetterman.

However, it would be nice if we could agree that threatening law enforcement officers that not only might they get murdered for enforcing the law, but it will be their fault if they do, is a bad thing. Again, that doesn't appear to be the world we live in now. Not in Minneapolis.
